Hello! Thanks for visiting the Suntree CBD Blog. Here I will provide information on the inner workings of Suntree CBD.
Firstly, I should provide a short description for who we are. We provide CBD products to the Suntree area in Melbourne, Florida conveniently located next to the Subway in the Publix plaza at the corner of Wickham Rd. and Interlachen Blvd. My parents bought this business in June, and we have been working diligently to improve the business from when we obtained it. This means changing things around, adding and removing products from our store, and, most importantly, solidifying our online presence. This is mainly my role, as I am naturally skilled with computers and have my finger on the pulse of the internet (for better or for worse.) I currently handle the “back office” duties at the store, which includes managing the website, our inventory, and a couple other things that I don’t really need to get into. This means that I’m the one that has the most information regarding these topics, so it’s most appropriate for me to keep a “captain’s log”.
Going forward, I’ll be writing a blog post every Monday to talk about what’s going on at the store, as well as provide some insight into what our future plans are, as much as I can divulge. Speaking of, our next event will be our 12 Days of Christmas promotion. Starting December 11th, we will have a different promotion each day, such as a free item with a purchase or a discount off of certain items, leading up to a double dip day of a blanket 15% off your total order on December 23rd and 24th. Additionally, we will have a prize wheel that every customer will be able to spin! I’m really looking forward to those days, as I hope it will bring up our sales a bit.
On that note, one thing I am hoping we can improve is our sales. Currently we average just enough to stay afloat, but obviously we would like to be making a larger profit. I think this is possible, but we just need to get more people interested. We’re in a bit of an awkward spot right now because a number of our potential customers in the area are going to be seniors who may have predispositions about cannabis products, which makes a lot of sense if you think about it. The greatest purveyors of the “green scare” were in office while octogenarians were in their 20s and 30s, which means a lot of that propaganda was directed towards them. I won’t get into the systemic or societal issues that came about by or were caused by drug control efforts of the tail end of the last century, but the level of vitriol towards cannabis, marijuana, and hemp products during that time still has effects on the perception of cannabidiol even today. Obviously I can’t do much about how people see CBD, but I can try to learn more about it and teach people about it.
Whew, that was a bit of a doozy, huh? I think this is maybe a good stopping point for this week’s blog post. I hope that I can keep providing interesting information about the store, and maybe get some people interested in CBD products!
Have a great one!
